Uprising

Hey Everyone – It’s coming quickly in just a couple of weeks! If you haven’t registered yet for Uprising 2015, you can go to www.uroth.org to find more information and finalize your plans! Every year we’ve been having great encounters with the Holy Spirit as we look into His Word, exalt Him through praise worship and encounter Him through times of prayer ministry. Come and find the call of how the Lord is leading us to “REUNION” – becoming people who are a part of heaven expressed here on earth. 

If you can’t make it because of costs, don’t worry, it’s free (we’ll be taking love offerings).

If you need a place to stay, let us know and we’ll find a nice place for you to sleep and shower for those few days.

If you say “I’ll only come if they have a BBQ” – guess what? We’ll be having a BBQ on August 2nd after our Sunday Celebration!

In all seriousness though…we’re gathering together not for a speaker, not for a praise band, not even for the experience but because we’ve been called. The Church is the point of heaven invading earth, our call is to be a part of flowing in this “reunion”. Uprising 2015 is coming up quickly (7/30 – 8/1).  You may follow this link to register.

Uprising is our response to God’s call to raise up a “Daniel” generation – a generation with a burning passion to bring about a reunion of heaven and earth.

Like Daniel, many of our young people today have had some of the best training in “Babylon”.  Also like Daniel, God has called many of these young people to places of influence where they will “shine like stars in the universe”.  They will be a people not for themselves, but ones whose hearts are set on witnessing for Christ at all costs. 

Raising up the “Daniels” can only come about by a genuine touch of the Holy Spirit.  This is why Uprising’s activities will not center around a certain program format, star speakers, or worship music.  Uprising’s pursuit will simply be an atmosphere of “reunion” that can usher our young people into a deeper communion with the Holy Spirit – to drink in a fresh vision of their “Daniel” call.

This is our anticipation.  We hope you will join us.

Please register for Uprising 2013 and Uprising Jr.  We need your registration to prepare for the meals.  We also need the Uprising Jr. registration to prepare for the science experiments.

You are also invited to the Thursday pre-conference worship (7:30 PM).  We will spend an extended time in worship and prayer, seeking the heart of God for the Uprising gathering and blessing God’s work in the lives of our young people.  All ages are welcome!!

Uprising is aimed at raising up our next generation to walk in their Kingdom destiny, as young men and women of stature and favor who will influence the world’s market place as Christ’s witnesses.  In our theme, “On Earth as it is in Heaven”, we will dig deep into understanding how our school, work, money, giftings, friends, family all play a part in God’s Kingdom call – as witnesses to the world today and as Christ’s Kingdom stewards in the New Jerusalem tomorrow.
